About
Samantha Skirka, LCSW
My name is Samantha, and I am Clinical Social Worker licensed to practice in Maine and Florida.

I am a mother, sister, daughter, niece, friend, colleague, etc., and I understand firsthand the pressure that we, as women, are under in our lives.
As if being a human being, and a woman, is not hard enough, we also have all of these expectations, pressures, and judgments forced on us by those in our lives, by society, and even now by strangers posting online. WHEW!
All of this aside, being a mom is still my absolute favorite (AND MOST CHALLENGING) job in the world!
I aim each day to become a better version of myself and I aim to help my clients to do the same.
I have a passion for working with other moms who find themselves in an array of situations such as being a stay-at-home mom, a working mom, a single mom, going through relationship issues/divorce, experiencing postpartum depression or anxiety, etc.

I have a passion for working in partnership with my clients to help them achieve healing, self-awareness, and personal goals.
I have experience working with clients of all ages from adolescence to elderly, all genders, varying nationalities, etc.
I have worked with an array of clients from various cultures and embrace any and all differences amongst my clients, as I believe that therapy is a process of learning and growing together.
I love to learn from my clients and to take a piece of them with me into my life and my practice.
I believe in the power of therapy and have seen clients make amazing progress in their journeys, which brings such meaning to my work and to my life.
At this time I am offering Telehealth services only.
